A revolutionary spotting scope created to optimise the balance between optical performance and overall size, the MM2 Mighty Midget is an exercise in functionalism for today's space conscious telescope user. Designated a 'Travelscope' the design incorporates a precision optical system complete with an extendable objective lens, offering the latest in precision optical performance while retracting to under 18cm for optimum portability. Fully extended the body measures just under 22cm (excluding eyepiece).
Available also in an angled body design, with the option of two MM2 interchangeable eyepieces - 25x and 15-40x - plus full compatibility with all SDL, HR and HDF eyepieces (for users requiring long eyerelief to obtain full field of view wearing spectacles), the models use a 52mm diameter objective with a fully multi-coated optical system, internal focusing with a close focus to an impressive 3.5m.
Body construction is a mix of tough plastics, alloys and rubber, creating finished weights to 460gms and some other features include an eyepiece cavity store, partial rubber covering, retractable lens hood and Telephoto option.
Recently modified MM2 V2 models incorporate a 'click-stop' on the draw tube for easier use with the impressive 40862M HDF 12-36x zoom. Mighty Midget models come with a comprehensive 10 year guarantee.
