Designed for the serious birder and outdoor enthusiast, Meade's Kestral spotting scopes deliver sharp, crystal clear images required for long-range viewing. They feature high quality, precision ground lenses that are coated with multiple layers of anti-reflection coatings and high-index BaK-4 Prisms to provide crisp resolution and image contrast - that is equal to - or better - than any spotting scope in its class.
They are manufactured from lightweight polycarbonate - which reduces overall weight and makes them extremely rugged and durable - and finished in a rugged, black rubber armour covering that protects the 'scope from the abrasions and bumps that can come with regular use. Waterproof, Fogproof and Nitrogen Purged to ensure many years of performance regardless of the environment, the Built-in Sliding sunshade over the objective lense further assists in reducing glare.
