For the more serious view of the night sky, with a preference for high magnification, we would recommend the Europa 150 f8 in preference to the other 150mm models. It's larger optics produce 75% brighter images with almost 33% more visible detail. The Europa 150 is the most popular 150mm (6") telescope on sale in the UK. It achieved this position primarily because of it's unquestionable optical and mechanical performance and, of course, it's price tag.
We are quite sure you will not find better images in any similar aperture reflector in the market, today. Now featuring Vixen's world wide famous GP-2 Polaris mount of superb mechanical and tracking capabilities on an adjustable Varnished wood Tripod with accessory tray. Supplied with an 1.25" diameter 25mm Plossl eyepiece. This Mount can be driven by a Quartz single or dual axis drive system - totally automatically - if required.
The f/5 configuration is more suitable for general views of the heavens, whereas the f/8 model is, if you have a tendancy towards planetary and lunar observations. For dedicated planetary and lunar observers, where higher magnifications are needed, we have the f11 model.
